Knollcrest Lodge is seeking to hire Permanent Full-Time and Part -Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to help support Knollcrest’s Nursing Department. We seek candidates who have a desire and passion for serving our people, and who have knowledge and understanding of Long Term Care Nursing.

This position is integral in meeting the needs of our Nursing Department.

Responsibilities include: implementing care plans that include a limited range of interventions; Communicates well with our residents, families and our Team; Great assessment skills; provides medication and treatment administration as per the scope of the RPN; demonstrates and advocates for a safe and secure environment for our residents and our Team.

Knollcrest Lodge is seeking to hire Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time Personal Support Workers to help support Knollcrest’s Nursing Department. We seek candidates who have a desire and passion for serving our people, and who have knowledge and understanding of Long Term Care Nursing.

This position is integral in meeting the needs of our Nursing Department.

Responsibilities include: assisting the nursing process by observing and reporting changes in the resident’s physical and emotional condition; understanding the needs of our residents by reading their care plan/ Kardex and providing the prescribed bedside personal care needed; delivering personal care to promote comfort and safety for the resident during activities of daily living in accordance with the standard of resident care; maintains effective communication and good relations with residents, families and significant others; participates as a team member in cooperation with other departments to ensure quality care of the resident and provides input into the plan of care.

Ideal candidates should have experience working in a health care or Long Term Care setting; experience providing bed side care in a home-like setting; must be a graduate of the Personal Support Worker Program, or be a nursing student enrolled in a post-secondary RN or RPN program.
